How it works

Supported WoS fields

Full author names (AF) are used in preference to the abbreviated forms, and the journal or proceedings title goes to T2 with the abbreviation in J2. Also mapped: year, volume, issue, pages, article number (C7), DOI (DO, plus a doi.org link in UR), PubMed ID (C2), ISSN/ISBN, abstract, author keywords and Keywords Plus, language, publisher and city, addresses, document type, accession number (AN), Web of Science categories, research areas and funding.

What happens to duplicates?

When deduplication is enabled, the first matching record is retained. DOI is the strongest key, followed by the Web of Science accession number (UT), and then a fallback key using normalised title, year, and first author.
